THE ULTIMATE TEST

Motorsport has always been the ultimate testing ground for vehicles and their powertrains, including hybrid technology, which has been widely adopted over the last 15 years.

 

The current F1® power unit is the most powerful and fuel-efficient hybrid in the world. It uses energy recovery systems to increase power output and efficiency.

 

WRC cars include a plug-in hybrid unit and a 1.6 turbocharged engine. Rallying tests engine lubricants to the extreme, racing over a variety of terrains, temperatures and surfaces including gravel, snow, ice and tarmac.

 

Our partnerships with BWT Alpine F1® Team and Ford M-Sport WRC provide the perfect platform to test, learn and develop solutions for road-going hybrid vehicles.

 

SETTING THE STAGE FOR SUCCESS
